Job Description:

We are on the lookout for a highly skilled and experienced Web Developer specializing in Drupal and WordPress to enhance our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for the design, development, and upkeep of our websites and online platforms, ensuring they are not only functional and visually striking but also accessible and compliant with the American Disability Act’s Section 508 standards. Collaborating closely with our IT and marketing teams during Pacific Daytime Hours (12:00 AM – 8:00AM in the Philippines), you will be instrumental in delivering exceptional web solutions that resonate with our mission and business objectives. Your expertise will also extend to enhancing website accessibility, ensuring an inclusive digital experience for all users..

Responsibilities:

1. Website Development:

• Develop and maintain websites using Drupal and WordPress, ensuring they are responsive, secure, and optimized for performance.
• Customize themes and templates to align with the company’s branding and user experience guidelines.
• Collaborate with designers and content creators to integrate visual elements, multimedia, and engaging content.

2. Content Management:

• Manage and update website content, including text, images, videos, and interactive features.
• Implement SEO best practices to optimize website content for search engines and improve organic visibility.

3. Technical Support:

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for website-related issues.
• Perform regular updates, patches, and security audits to maintain website integrity.

4. Integration and APIs:

• Integrate third-party applications, plugins, and APIs to enhance website functionality and user experience.
• Ensure seamless data flow and synchronization between different systems.

5. Performance Optimization:

• Monitor website performance, analyze user data, and make improvements to enhance site speed and usability.
• Implement caching, compression, and other optimization techniques.

6. Security and Compliance:

• Implement robust security measures to protect websites and sensitive patient data.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare data privacy regulations, such as HIPAA, and other relevant industry standards.

7. Cross-Browser and Cross-Platform Compatibility:

• Test websites across various browsers and devices to ensure a consistent and user-friendly experience.

8. Documentation and Training:

• Create and maintain documentation for website development and maintenance procedures.
• Provide training and guidance to internal staff on using web-related tools and platforms.

9. Stay Updated:

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in web development.
• Continuously seek opportunities for improvement and innovation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience in web development using Drupal and WordPress, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL.
• Familiarity with web accessibility standards (WCAG) and responsive design principles.
• Knowledge of SEO best practices and website analytics tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• With experience in Website Accessibility Compliance.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in Drupal and WordPress development.
• Experience in the healthcare or telemedicine industry.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Knowledge of graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).
• Experience with cloud hosting platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
• Familiar with American Disability Act (ADA) Section 508 compliance.
• Experience in crafting webpage that has Double or Triple A compliance rating in Web Content Accessibility Guideline is of great advantage.

NOTE:

• This is a full-time position with a work-from-home setup, as the company is based in the USA. The applicant should be willing to work from 1:00 AM to 10:00 AM to facilitate collaboration with the company’s daily operations in the US.
